The Great Outdoors

I’m sick.  How is it possible to have a runny nose and be stuffy nosed at the same time?  We lazed around this morning but I was feeling guilty about how lazy I was acting so I told Dan we have to get outside and get some excercise.  He got a new bike last week so I know he’s been itching to ride it.  I put Lillers in her stroller and out the door  down the hallway, down the elevator, and then out the door we went.  This girl can’t wait to move out of this damn high rise.  I was planning on jogging with the stroller while Dan rode ahead of us, but then I quickly realized it would be impossible to jog.  You know, due to the whole not being able to breathe thing.  I took a DayQuil before we set out on our adventure but I didn’t feel it was helping the whole time we were out.

Today was supposed to be Day 1 of C25K.  I was just so mad at myself the whole time for not being able to run.  Well I’m sure I was physically able, don’t get me wrong, but I just wasn’t up to it.  I’m proud of myself for at least wanting to get up off the couch and get outside and move around.  We walked for a pretty long time, so some movement is certainly better than none.  I’m feeling a little better now that the DayQuil has set in, which is good.

I told you guys a few days ago that I would fill you in a little bit more on this weeks C25K schedule.  I’m going to start today still, I have decided.  After work tonight it’s straight to the gym I go. Watch out treadmill, here I come.  Snot and all.
